Check out this link for more information on the camera. I have experienced problems getting the camera to connect to my computer. I'm not for sure what the problem is. I don't have the firewire cable with the camera, so that's it I think. The solution might be to buy a new cable is all. I'm not sure. This camera uses miniDVs. This website could be helpful.
